Isomerization unit catalyst
Isomerization unit catalyst is a material used in refineries to convert lower octane hydrocarbons to higher octane hydrocarbons (isomers) and is usually based on zirconia sulfate. These catalysts are particularly useful in the conversion of lighter naphtha and gasoline cuts to improve their quality.
Catalyst for Merax, ODS and HDS units
In the petroleum industry, it is used to remove sulfur compounds from feedstock oil and produce cleaner fuels. The most common method is hydrodesulfurization (HDS) and another method is oxidative desulfurization (ODS), which uses heteropolyoxo catalysts or adsorbents such as activated carbon to remove sulfur compounds.
